PELOTONIA 2017
The Pelotonia bike ride supporting cancer research takes place this weekend. A portion of the event will take place in the Arena District along Long St. and Spring St. between McFerson Commons and Hanover St.
Set up begins Wednesday, August 2 in McFerson Commons and North Bank Park. Rider check-in and opening ceremonies are Friday afternoon, August 4. The ride kicks off Saturday morning from McFerson Commons. Please be aware that there will be heavy cyclist and foot traffic in the District on Friday and Saturday.
There will be No Group Fitness Classes
Traffic Impact:
Spring St. and Long St. west of Neil Ave. will close Friday, August 4 at 9:00 a.m. and will reopen Saturday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the event.
***Note: Neil Ave. (north of Spring St.) and Nationwide Blvd. will remain open throughout the event.
For access in and out of the Arena District, we recommend using Neil Ave. to Nationwide Blvd. or Front St.

Parking:
Arena District parking garages will remain open and accessible throughout the event.

Friday, August 4: Rider Check-In & Opening Ceremony

3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 5: Ride Start – riders will head east along Long St. to High St.
McFerson Commons and North Bank Park
5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to support riders as they depart from McFerson Commons. Sunny Street Café is nearby and a great spot to grab breakfast and coffee!
