In terms of motivation, how do you motivate yourself to exercise?
I motivate myself by setting new goals. Reaching my goal is a great reward and motivation to keep improving my level of fitness.
What is your favorite snack or drink that boosts your energy before a workout?
Almonds are my favorite pre-workout snack. Post-work snacks include whey or soy protein shakes and flax seed oil.
What is your favorite cardio exercise?
My favorite form of exercise is playing soccer. I also enjoy sprint workouts at the track when the weather is nice!
What is your favorite strength training exercise?
My favorite strength training exercises are lower body exercises. Box jumps, Bulgarian split squats and dynamic lunges are a few of my favorites.
Personal Fit Tip:
Pick exercises you enjoy, but that also challenge you. If you look forward to your workouts you will be more likely to stick to it and see improvements.
What is the biggest mistake you see members make in gym?
Most people are stuck in the same routine. It is important to change your routine in order for your workouts to be effective.

I am currently reading The New Rules of Lifting by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove.
