Pelotonia Friday July 31 – Sunday August 2
It’s going to be an exciting summer weekend with several events happening in and around the Arena District. Pelotonia will be held at McFerson Commons, the Columbus Clippers play at Huntington Park, and Barry Manilow is scheduled to perform at Nationwide Arena.
Please note that beginning Friday afternoon, pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the Arena District is expected to increase as attendees arrive to park, dine, and head to their respective events.

Pelotonia | July 31 – August 2, 2026
The Pelotonia cycling event supporting cancer research takes place July 31 – August 2 throughout downtown Columbus and beyond. A portion of the event activities will occur along Long St. and Spring St., between McFerson Commons and Hocking St. Please be advised that traffic volumes in the Arena District are expected to be elevated on the evening of Friday, July 31, and the morning of Saturday, August 1.

Estimated attendance: 11,000 (including 3,000 volunteers and spectators)
Traffic
To accommodate the set-up and nearly 8,000 participants, there are planned road closures in and around the Arena District, beginning Friday, July 31 at 9:00am after the morning commute and reopening Saturday, August 1 by 7:00pm:

Parking
Access to all Arena District parking garages will remain open throughout the weekend events.
